• Junior: a minimum of 58 hours on record.
• Sophomore: a minimum of 26 semester hours on record.
• First year: fulfillment of entrance requirements and less than 26 semester hours on record.
• Postgraduate: baccalaureate degree and enrolment in graduate courses for graduate credit.
• Special: a student taking courses at Carlingford with temporary permission and not a candidate for a degree from Carlingford.
